Download your filter and unzip it into your plugin folder in a subfolder called AAA.

The plugins will show up under the categories of AAA Filters.

PhotoFiltre Studio
Do you need a photo editor with layer options? This is the one I recommend.
It is a fast and versatile, and it accepts all AAA 8bf plugin filters.
The cost is very reasonable (29 Euros), and the updates are free.

Image Analyzer
The best free photo editor around. Be sure to download the 8bf interface too.
When you apply a plugin, you can fade the opacity of the result in normal,
lighten, or darken blend mode.

  This filter allows you to open a mask, texture, grunge, or paint layer and blend it with your image in any of 30 blend modes. You can even use it to simulate layers by blending it with the original or a modified version of the image you are editing. It's quick and easy!

  Please follow the installation instructions carefully. Unlike the other AAA filters, this one requires a dll file to work, and it must be in the same folder as the filter itself. And the filter will be much easier to use if you keep your mask, grunge, texture, and paint files in subfolders in your AAA Blender folder.

  AAA Buzzer simplifies your image while retaining sharp edges. It works fairly quickly at low ratio settings. It works more slowly as you set the ratio higher, but it also removes more detail. I wrote this filter for Image Analyzer because the BuZZ Simplifier filter does not work with it. For PhotoFiltre Studio I recommend BuZZ Pro which is available on Trimoon's Blog. It is faster and removes more detail than AAA Buzzer. You can also get the Impressionist filter there. It works in Image Analyzer but not in PhotoFiltre Studio. Both filters work in Photoshop and Elements and in Paint Shop Pro.

  AAA Foto Fix is an update of one of my original filters. You can adjust sharpness and exposure, saturation and color balance using eleven different sliders. The Edges slider is new. It works with the Focus slider. When you sharpen of blur an image, it's mainly the edges that are affected. The Edge slider lets you darken or brighten those edges. To boost contrast, brighten the Highlights and darken the Shadows. To adjust brightness, use the Midtones slider. The Grain slider is also new. Try it at a setrting of 10 or 20 for a film grain effect.

  AAA Framer allows you to make a variety of frames for your images. You set the width, contour, and brightness. Set the frame color using the Red, Green, and Blue sliders. The example shown here is set for a gold frame: Red plus 30 and Blue minus 90.

  This filter offers some Gaussian blur filter options. Color Blur will blur the colors without changing luminosity (lightness) values. You may also invert and blur the colors without inverting the luminosity. Just press the Negative button. Soft Light is a Gaussian blur with faded opacity. Use it for a soft focus or a diffused light appearance. These are just two of the Presets. Another, shown in the image above, is Smooth Operator. The filter has 22 blend modes to choose from. Try all of the modes in both positive and negative to see which ones will be useful to you. You can increase the size of the preview by dragging an end or corner of the filter.

  Over 50 filter options plus 16 blend modes. Apply the filter effects to an entire image or to a selection. Use the Frame Size (in pixels) slider to apply the effect to the outside rectangular border only. Many of the more extreme effects and blend modes are useful especially for frames. For some interesting effects, try some of the blur and emboss effects in Lighten, Darken, and Double Difference blend modes. You can increase the size of the preview by dragging an end or corner of the filter.
